08/20/2025 - Progress continues on the Gowanus Canal CSO Facilities project in Brooklyn, NY. The project is a Joint Venture of Picone and Yonkers Contracting, operating as the Gowanus Canal Constructors. The Project consists of constructing an 8-million-gallon combined sewer overflow tank facility. The goal for the facility is to protect the Gowanus Canal from uncontrolled storm event overflow.

Our team is building a cleaner and safer space for the surrounding community with additional waterfront esplanades, public space amenities, and ecosystem restoration.

The current phase of the project is approximately 50% complete with pile installation. We’ve recently begun waterproofing and rebar installation for the reinforced concrete CSO structure.
