01/04/2023 - Progress is happening on the Gowanus Canal CSO Facilities project in Brooklyn, NY. The project is a Joint Venture of Picone and Yonkers Contracting, known as the Gowanus Canal Constructors. The Project consists of constructing an 8-million gallon combined sewer overflow tank facility. The goal for the facility is to protect the Gowanus Canal from uncontrolled storm event overflow.

Our team is building a cleaner and safer space for the surrounding community with additional waterfront esplanades, public space amenities, and ecosystem restoration.

The current phase of the project involves slurry wall construction to create a watertight wall around the perimeter of the excavation.
