These mission critical projects help preserve our dams and power generating facilities, keeping the lights on and providing clean water for businesses and residents throughout the New York Metropolitan Area.  Yonkers has a long history of working with utility companies in the northeast building substations, power generation plants, gas and water distribution systems, and pumping stations; as well as rehabilitating dams, wastewater and water treatment plants. Yonkers’ comprehensive mechanical, civil and structural groups coordinate the work to enable these vital facilities to remain functional while rehabilitation and upgrades are performed.
