Yonkers Contracting Company is currently performing the CTDOT Metro-North “Track Improvement Mobility Enhancement (TIME-1) Contract A” project in Stratford, Connecticut. The project consists of major railroad infrastructure improvements along the Metro-North New Haven Line, including catenary foundation installations, utility coordination, track and signal support work, environmental compliance operations, and future track and crossover improvements associated with the Long Brook Bridge area. Work includes extensive coordination with Metro-North Railroad, CTDOT, utility companies, and multiple specialty subcontractors to support critical rail system upgrades while maintaining active railroad operations. The project also involves complex sequencing, railroad outage coordination, environmental controls, and long-lead procurement management associated with major transportation infrastructure improvements.
