Yonkers Receives Two Awards
03/01/2023 - Yonkers received two awards for their work on the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey's Cashless Tolling Program. The first is the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) of New Jersey - Award for Engineering Excellence, Distinguished Award. This award recognizes and celebrates engineering achievements that demonstrate the highest degree of skill and ingenuity among firms throughout the state of New Jersey.
The second is The New Jersey Alliance for Action - New Jersey's Leading Capital Construction Projects Award. This award honors and recognizes organizations that reflect the most impactful of current daily activities in major construction and infrastructure initiatives in the state.
Yonkers has been a part of the PANYNJ's cashless tolling projects at the George Washington Bridge, Goethals Bridge, Outerbridge Crossing, Holland Tunnel, and Lincoln Tunnel.
