FIRST SIX MONTHS OF 2022

CTDOT - Interstate 95 Median Reconstruction and Resurfacing Project - Norwalk and Westport, CT:

Located in the towns of Norwalk and Westport, Connecticut.  Main activities include the following items of work:  installation of a new underground stormwater retention structure, micro-tunneling large diameter drainage pipe along and across I-95, replacing two main-line bridges during two weekends (accelerated bridge construction), and reconstructing the median and shoulders.
 

Schedule:  June 2022 to October 2024

CTDOT - Route 15 Safety Improvements, Resurfacing, Enhancements and Bridge Improvements Project - Towns of New Canaan and City of Norwalk, CT:

Located in the towns of New Canaan and Norwalk, Connecticut.  Main activities for the project include the following items of work: structural and ornamental rehabilitation of 15 bridges, full-depth pavement reconstruction under all overpasses; constructing 300 new drainage structures with 2,800 lf of new RCP, installing 4,000 lf of new precast median barrier, milling 110,000 sy of existing asphalt pavement, placing 70,000 tons of new asphalt pavement, and installing 45,000 lf of new guiderail.
 

Schedule:  June 2022 to October 2024

NYSDOT - Taconic State Parkway Paving Project - Towns of Pleasant Valley and Clinton, NY/ Dutchess County:

Located from Tyrrel Road to Willow Lane in the towns of Pleasant Valley and Clinton, New York. Main activities for the project include the following items of work:  drainage repairs and replacements, milling 258,000 sy of existing asphalt pavement, and placing 34,000 tons of new asphalt pavement.
 

Schedule:  April 2022 to September 2022

NYSDOT - Interstate 84 Paving Project - Dutchess and Putnam Counties, NY:

Located between Bowen Road overpass to Connecticut state line, in the New York towns of East Fishkill, Kent, Patterson, Southeast and the Connecticut town of Danbury.  Main activities for the project include the following items of work: joint repairs, milling 665,000 sy of existing asphalt pavement, and placing 62,000 tons of new asphalt pavement.
 

Schedule:  April 2022 to December 2022

NYSTA - I-287 / Route 17S Exit 15 to North of Suffern 1R, Rockland County, NY:

Main activities for the project include the following items of work:  milling over 1,120,000 sy of existing asphalt pavement, placing over 130,000 tons of new asphalt pavement, replacing over 80,000 lf of guiderail, and partially replacing drainage system.

 PANYNJ - Design-Build, Central Substation #2 Project at JFK International Airport, Queens, NY:

The project involves the design, construction, and commissioning of a new 40MVA substation and all associated components (“Central Substation #2”), which will assist in supplying power to JFK landside facilities and associated supporting infrastructure at the Central Terminal Area (CTA). The objectives for the project are to Construct Central Substation #2 to ensure resilient, reliable, and redundant service while ensuring connectivity and compatibility with existing Port Authority facility management systems, buildings, terminals, and the cogeneration plant in conjunction with the other airport substations. 

PATH - Replacement of Substation No. 2, Jersey City, NJ:

The work involves construction of a two-story steel framed substation building; construction of a bulkhead for tunnel emergency evacuation shaft and an underground utility connection to existing PATH tunnels and subsurface utilities; furnishing, installing and commissioning electrical and mechanical equipment, compressor plant for pneumatic air system and fire protection systems; furnishing and installing stand-by generators; switch-over from the existing Substation No. 2; site work by and around Washington Street, Greene Street and Second Street in Jersey City, NJ.
