05/31/2024 - Yonkers Contracting is excited to announce we were awarded a new Design-Build project: The Replacement of Two Bronx River Parkway Bridges with Safety and Mobility Improvements Between East Tremont Avenue and Bronx Park. This project involves the replacement of an existing 1,500 ft viaduct over NYCT E180th Street rail yard and local streets. It will also include Bronx Park upgrades to drainage and Bronx River Greenway, NYC maintenance yard upgrades to grading and drainage, and a new shared-use path adjacent to the northbound Bronx River Parkway. Construction for this $517M NYSDOT project is expected to kick off in late summer.
