SUBSTANTIAL COMPLETION OF YONKERS $95M NEWBURGH-BEACON BRIDGE PROJECT
Governor Kathy Hochul announced the substantial completion of the full deck replacement project and the full reopening of the north span of the Newburgh-Beacon Bridge. STAMFORD PARKING GARAGE DESIGN-BUILD PROJECT
Yonkers was selected as the Design-Builder for the Stamford Parking Garage project. The garages’ footprint sits in an urban neighborhood nestled between I-95 and Metro-North Railroad, and elevated above South State Street. The project is currently in its second year of construction. The new parking garage and its iconic pedestrian bridge will provide seamless intermodal transportation connections to the train station, train platforms, and local streets.
First Six Months of 2022
Yonkers had a very successful first half of 2022, with contract awards for five highway and bridge projects for New York State DOT and Connecticut DOT, and a Design-Build Substation project at JFK Airport for the Port Authority, and a Substation Replacement project for PATH In New Jersey.
